Happy Birthday Jordan!

Happy 19th Jordan!

19 things about Jordan:
(in no particular order)

19. He may be the only person I know who would sit for hours and watch the special features from every DVD.  ( When I say hours, I mean like HOURS)

18. He was obsessed with Egypt as a young child.

17. We used to make  three-room forts on Sundays together while my dad slept and my mom graded papers.  Once we even talked my mom into letting us keep it up all through Monday.  That was really saying something.

16. Anytime he gets in a swimming pool he secretly has the urge jump and spin, splashing the water with his hand while he spins, just like the AMC guy. (It seemed a lot cooler when we were little)

15. He has lost valuable pieces to Lego sets due to my dad's rage.  Sadly, Jordan's Legos were just innocent bystanders.

14.  I'm pretty sure he came out of the womb with the ability to read.

13.  He is probably the most air-headed smart person I've ever known.  (Did you make your bed today Jord?)

12.  You can go upstairs now, Gaston will not marry you.
11. While living at home, Jordan was the only adult in the house.

10.  Jordan plays the piano like a champion.  He is the only one in our house that actually practiced their musical instrument.

9.  Once he flipped off the Scout Master during a camping trip.  Camping isn't really Jordan's thing.
8. If Jordan could sing every sentence he ever spoke, I think he would.

7.  Jordan used to play house with me in our playhouse outside.  More because I wanted him to play with me and less because he wanted to.

6. A sibling told him at a pretty young age that Santa was not real, while arguing.  It scarred him for life.  (and I'm really, really sorry)

5. One shawl with tasseled edges plus one creative mind = The best Tina Turner impersonation I've ever seen.

4. I don't think I have ever seen Jordan really mad.  If I have, he was still smiling (or camping).

3.  Jordan is the most kind-hearted, humble person I have ever known.  He brings the sweetest spirit into our home and I don't know that anyone could say a bad thing about him.

2. He is an AMAZING artist, but you would never hear it from him.

1. He will be the best missionary.ever.

I love you Jordan!  Happy 19th Birthday!  We miss you down here in AZ and can't wait to see you again!

I would also like to give a shout-out to H Diggity Dawg.  Happy Birthday Heather!

Dana that is the sweetest (and truest) tribute I've ever seen. You are so creative! It inspired me to learn how to post a comment. If this doesn't work, i'll be an anti blogger forever!

Dana, HILARIOUS! I couldn't stop laughing in the middle of class. The only one I would have added is:

Jord, how's that lemon chicken?

BTW, I remembered that AMC guy before you had to post that video. I can totally see him doing that in the pool. And don't forget him doing the Ariel from Little mermaid.

Way to go Mom! It's been like 2 years and you finally learned how to post a comment! Nick, I totally forgot about the lemon chicken!!! Another one that I remembered a little too late was Tina Turner as well as the peas being Ursula's lipstick! Doh! Those might be worth adding....

Dana, this was way to cute! I saw your dad today and he told me that Jordan turned 19 and I seriously couldn't believe it. I still think of us as the little girls we were playing at your house and Jordan being there with us in your game room. This makes me feel way to old! :)
