I just couldn't help it

Okay, so I know I already have a few videos on here and one of those is of Hunter laughing, but I just couldn't resist putting this on here.  I crack up at his deep belly laugh so I ran and grabbed our camera! Our dog Branigan was so excited because we had just walked in the door that he started to play with Hunter.  Hunter thought it was the funniest thing he has ever seen!  Don't worry our dog is super sweet and wouldn't hurt a fly, he was just playing with Hunter!  I guess it can look scary to people who don't know Branigan's personality! Anyway...Enjoy.

Pumpkin Patch!

Mike and I took the boys to a pumpkin patch nearby for a little Halloween fun! We went after the sun had gone down which made the corn maze more interesting!  We got some great pics with the boys!  

Mikey was so unsure of the corn maze.  He would say "I'm Scared" like every 5 seconds in a whiney voice for added drama.  He really wanted to be tough but this picture says it all.  Mike kept making him tell us which way to go and I would try to sneak off to scare him. Every-time I would make a noise or rustle the stocks of corn he would cling to the stroller and say "I know thats you Dana" in a very shaky, tearful voice.  Poor kid.  I must get that teasing from Nick.

Here we are at my parents Trunk-or-Treat party for their ward.  This is Mike's mom "Grammy" with Hunter.  I will add more pictures from Halloween Night. 

I just thought the giraffe was so fitting for Hunter's long and thin frame!  Plus, it was complete with a tail and mane that looked like a mohawk.  ADORABLE.

Being Silly!

On Saturday October 11th we went to see Jeff play for his birthday.  It was such a fun day!

I think this picture is so sweet!  Mikey was being such a Ham-bone and Hunter thought it was the funniest thing!

Thank you Julia for getting us tickets and coming all the way out to Surprise! It sure was a fun day!  It was great to see Clayton and Kristi too!

MIKEYISMS

Let me just start by saying that Mikey is HILARIOUS!  He seriously comes up with some funny stuff!   We recently started a reward system for Mikey where we made a special jar with a label that reads: "Mikey's Coupon Can".  Mikey can earn 'coupons' by being a good helper, picking up after himself without me reminding him and doing other small tasks .  He can then spend those coupons on some of the many treats in our pantry. One time I gave him a coupon for remembering to flush the toilet, wash his hands and turn off the light after he went to the bathroom.  Well, let me just tell you, that day he went to the bathroom every ten minutes to try to rack up his coupons!  Then, about two weeks later, this conversation occurred between us:

Mikey:  I Flushed, I washed and I turned off the lights!

Me: What?

Mikey: (Louder and Slower)  I    f l u s h e d,    I    w a s h e d    a n d    I    t u r n e d   o f f   t h e    l i g h t s.  

Me: Oh, Okay well then we'll have to get you a coupon.  

I realized as I was saying this, that I had taken the soap out of the bathroom to refill it. 

Me: Mikey, what did you wash your hands with?

Mikey: (Very Matter-of-factually) I just used the Hanzizizer.

Me: The what?

Mikey: THE   HANZ-I-ZIE-ZER!

Me:  What is that? Show me what you are talking about.

Mikey takes me into the bathroom and opens the cupboard under the sink.  He pulls out a Gigantic bottle of hand sanitizer.   I didn't even know it was there! ...So I gave him two coupons.

Bath Time!

There is nothing I love more than happy children bathing!  It's probably my favorite thing (next to sleeping children of course).  I love how Hunter is kicking with all of his might!

Mikey is a super private boy which is why he has his bathing suit on.  I told him that I wouldn't have put it on here if he was naked...just the thought made him turn bright red.
