A little eager for summer? Maybe...

This past weekend we decided to go camping. We had Mikey all weekend and he was on Spring Break, so we left Saturday night for our little family adventure. And adventure it was. Honestly, it really was a blast.  It was nice to just get away for a little while.  Hunter was sick and miserable, but since when do we put our children first right? Ü He took it like a champion.
Mikey is at a stage where you can only get a picture of him if he is caught off guard, thus the look on his face. Ü
Hunter loving his brother through the tent window. That really was the highlight of his trip.  He didn't quite understand the mesh or the flaps that were unzipped.
Flying the Iron Man kite. Mikey loved it! It was the perfect weather too.  It was freezing at night but as soon as the sun came out, it was awesome. The breeze kept you just cool enough too.  The water...another story.

Here is Mikey with his cousin Emery.  She just adores Mikey and he is such a good sport.

Kissing Cousins.  It's nothing to worry about under the age of 2 right? Ü

Riddle me this: What do you get when you put one five-year old, a box of markers and a long car ride together?

You guessed it!
Self-inflicted Tattoo artistry
(The picture is kind of small but Mikey's left leg was COVERED.  Oh ya, he had pants on too, so I only discovered his creation when I saw black streaks on his face and hands.)
Mike's parents recently invested in a boat for some fun summer fishing trips.  It was so refreshing to get on the water!
Mikey was obsessed with skipping rocks.  There were about 10 other people there and when one person would wear out, he would come up to the camp and recruit another. When he was going to bed that night he asked Mike, in a delirious mumble, if we could go skip rocks every single day.
...a picture is worth a thousand words...

I'm jealous of your perfectly nice camping weather! Looks like you guys had a blast! You're brave to take Hunter! I think I would've left Brighton home and just took Corban! haha I love that Mikey wrote all over his leg!
