Balloon Baseball
Mikey loves being outside. He is 100% boy! He somehow got the great idea to play water balloon baseball. I have to admit, it was hilarious to watch. He kept perching the balloons on the tee and taunting us with 'I'm going to get you guys so good this time!' To which we would laugh because we knew he was soaking himself with every hit but still thinking he was playing some sort of trick on us. We played along and made the appropriate 'Oh no Mikey! You splashed me so much!' He loved it!
Turned into a water balloon fight. Are you surprised?
Easter Art Project
I got this project from no time for flash cards
and it looked so adorable, I decided to try it! It really was fun doing it with Mikey and Mike; sometimes it's stress relieving to make a mess! It turned out to be harder than it looks though! When we popped our balloons, the yarn wasn't dry enough to keep the shape. We suck.
Easter!
Mikey wanted to leave out carrots (and gumballs) for the easter bunny. Milk and cookies for Santa and apples for the reindeer must have given him the idea. Anyway, the EB ate some of the food and left Mikey a note! He was so excited but couldn't read the cursive. B.T.W. The checks are a behavior method used by his Kindergarden teacher. Green=Good; Red=Bad. (in case you had any trouble) Daddy worked hard to disguise his handwriting...
The Boys' loot!
(99% was donated by grandparents)
On Easter Sunday we woke up at 3:00 am to leave for Disneyland. The Easter Bunny already had everything ready to go! Mikey was a little bit out of it, but he loved it! His favorite item would have to be the baseball whistle. He wore it around his neck all day and on our 5 hour drive to CA we would get a sudden and random reminder of this fact. We quickly implemented a new 'whistles are for the outside only' rule.
