Thanksgiving 2010

I always seem to be so behind on my blogging!  Thanksgiving this year was spent up in Prescott at Mike's aunt's house. She has a beautiful home up there and it is always fun to get together!  Some of the families were missing, so it was a little more intimate and I enjoyed having a laid back holiday for once! :)

We drove up early Thanksgiving morning and decided to take the Yarnell route to avoid holiday traffic on the i-17.  I didn't realize how much that road winds around the mountains!  Poor Hunter was so quiet the whole time, when I looked back and saw he was still awake I was totally surprised! Little did I know he was suffering from raging car sickness and threw up ev.er.y.where.  McDonalds' hash browns all over.  Thankfully we were only about 15 minutes away, but let me tell you, it was a long 15 minutes...

 It was so cool to be up there and have a bonfire out back. While we were eating, a bunch of deer came right up to the window!

The dessert spread...seriously. Delicious.
